The piano tuner is coming tonight... since it's been transported from Warner Robins to Atlanta. I think the sound is quite unique - but maybe it's just me.
Anyway, the history of this puppy is quite extensive. From being built in 1926, being sold to a public school in Thomasville, GA, being damaged by a fire in the school, being replaced by the piano company, being refurbished and sold to my Great Grandmother, being given to my Grandmother who gave it to my mother who gave it to me... whew!
I just hope it will "hold" a tuning. (It really hasn't been that long since it was last tuned, so maybe it will).
