AUDIO/PODCAST INTERVIEW>> Sonya Isaacs

On March 29th, Sonya Isaacs called and we talked about an upcoming concert. (In fact, we recorded the interview as if we were talking on Saturday night, April 1st...)

In addition to the concert talk though, I asked her about her experience on the cruise ship with the Homecoming Friends when Anthony Burger passed away, we discussed Sonya's early start in music, what she calls her "MAN" -dolin, and a very interesting description of her voice (the product of two famous country women put together?). You don't want to miss it: Sonya Isaacs, my guest!

I have listened with heartfelt concern to the words of two ladies who witnessed the passing of Anthony. I could visualize my own self being there and what an experience it must have been. When my own mother passed away my sisters and I felt the gentle rush of angel wings the moment she died. I have also grieved as if I were family for this most talented and beloved man of Christian ministry. Thank you for a first account of this unforgettable tragedy to all concerned, including his fans. The same goes for the inteview with Lily. God bless the family of Anthony's and his extended family, the Gaither family of which he was a part and his dedicated fans.
